is there anyway i can emulate a xbox 360 controller on a keyboard?
most of today's games are specifically made for xbox 360, therefore a console controller is better IMO, especially for games like gta 4, so is there any way to do it?

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy a 360 controller for your PC?

I noticed the controls for Devil May Cry 4 are the worse I've seen for PC. They didn't even try to make it PC friendly, no mouse control.

I don't get it. What's the point of "emulating" the controller? You're still using your keyboard

Just bought myself a cheap Gamestop branded Xbox 360 for the very same problem as you have encountered.
Tried first with my PS3 controller, but on some games you cant even specify what buttons you want to use. :(

Cause i'm not used with a console controller, i can't even imagine playing fps games with one, so i need the game "to feel" like it is being controlled from by a console controller, while im still using my keyboard and mouse. Like ziddy123 said, some of the games aren't meant for pc, just a cheap port.

All the more reason to vote with your dollars and just not buy the console port crap. There are plenty of PC-centric games out there without having to pay good money to subject yourself to being treated like a second-class citizen. Most of those console ports aren't very good games in the first place.

how do you emulate a controller? there's no joystick, and buttons are buttons. I just don't understand how you would emulate a joystick on a keyboard.
