    sorry about the poor vid just shot it with a sony cybershot but gives ya a idea of the load times for 2142 with a 7950gtx ps all settings are on max!

    i have the slow 160hd so might be faster with a 7200rpm

    Wow the 7950GTX is pretty powerful, how much dedicated memory does it have, 256 or 512?

    Yeah, BF2142 takes a long time to load. A lot of new games do. But honestly, the 160GB hard drive isn't going to be much slower than a 100GB 7200RPM because the data density is higher. They'll be roughly the same. Not to mention a lot of BF2142's load times probably come from the online stuff that needs to be communicated.
