as I know this thread is made countless times, but not that it gets old, at least not for me![]()
I am seriously pissed off the day I bought Zero Gear, I bought it when it first came out on steam because sega refused to make sonic and sega all star racing online because of piracy!
a game for $19.99 and no story mode no missons and no funny characters to know and love..just cutomize bunch of stupid brainless dummies! and though it's a multiplayer game, went online for a while! now not a single server is on!

Tom Clancy Endwar is close to number 1 for me... what a disastrous game that took a great concept (the whole DEFCON + ability to launch a nuke when you are close to losing) were all lost due to a complete lack of unit choice (no light-mid-heavy tanks like in world in conflict.... but just TANK, or just HELI) and the game SPEED WAS SOOOOOO SLOW... I mean jesus it was really slow.
Paid full price for it too... I knew it didn't get great reviews, but didn't expect it to be sooo bad... -
Stalker bundre on steam and strong bad episode 1-5 on steam, if i could id give em away for free
-
Modern Warfare 3. Compared to how long I spend on other games I buy, I pretty much paid $10 an hour for this game so far. I have 8 cents an hour on MW2. i hardly ever spend the full 60 on a game, and I regret doing it this time.
-
Hydrophobia. Ok, I bought it on sale, but anyway, is boooooring. Thinking about that game makes me fall asl... zzzzzzz
-
Crysis 2.
I was never able to play the Multiplayer since launch and EA basically told me tough luck.
Also Portal 2
I don't regret buying it, but I do regret paying full price for it. It wasn't that good, it had some dry humor but that was it. It was unnecessarily long. Some parts in the game were added just to make it longer.
And lastly (That I can remember)
Black Ops. Enough Said. -
IL-sturmovik 1946, rohan online, rf online

What's wrong with IL-2 Sturmovik? Best WWII combat flight sim ever! It's old, that's for sure, based on original game released in 2001. But it has so many planes and great flight model, and fun to play.

Brink.
such a broken game on launch. and then I never did play it after they fixed the issues. -
BC2, didn't play it much, didn't have that much fun with it either. I remember seeing the first Bad Company trailers when it was console exclusive thinking it was a great idea. Tactical shooter with some comedy elements. But BC2 was nothing like that, it was total opposite of what I was expecting. It was just boring tactical shooter.
L4D2, about 2 hours played. 1 on those hours was just messing with settings etc, not even playing. -
No game regrets here, I usually youtube the game and see if I like the review.
-
Maybe I'll give it another chance when I have more time to learn the game

Fallout:NV for me. I have 2 hours in it and I got so bored...
also Far Cry and Far Cry 2. I never could get into these games. -

Only 1 in my 22 years of gaming - FF13 it is the worst game I've ever played
-
I have a few, usually ones I should have known better or checked before I bought.
Halo: The big daddy, no the crowned king of consolized, garbage FPS. I couldn't wait for this one before it came out on PC. I had heard the button mashing crowds exclamation that this was better than Half Life. So I bought it, loaded it up and was slapped in the face with a mediocre, console FPS. Those stupid screaming aliens running around waving their arms like morons still make me face palm.
Halo 2: I know, I know, why go for the second part of an awful game? Well I gave it an undeserved second chance, and of course was let down. Same awful game, even worse ending.
Gears of Snore: A whole game about hiding behind stuff? How fun...Boring story (is there a story? I can't really tell), mutant circus clown characters, pointless game play, yet another console mess. Glad the first was also the last on PC.
Mass Effect: Massive bore is more like it, thankfully the second was a lot better. I picked it up after a recommendation from someone here. He also thought the first one was boring.
Brink: Yikes, bought it at release, tried to like it, put 10 hours into it. Don't think I will ever touch that again.
Red Dead Redemption: Picked it up used for the PS3, hate the character, hate the game play. No wonder it stayed on consoles, garbage sinks to the bottom I always say. -

Dead Island, Skyirm, and The Witcher 2.
Dead Island because it is so damn repetitive, Skyrim and The Witcher 2 because of framerate issues. -
I have some, out of my mind:
+ Quest 64 (for N64): easily the worst 'RPG' I've ever played ... its about the story of the strongest mage in the world.
+ Recently, Darksiders. I got it in a deal (8 euros on steam) ... even so cheap I still felt robbed. I felt somehow the game didn't fit as a whole. -

Wings of Prey - worst airplane video game because flight is so uncontrollable even with a joystick. Then they limit you to 3 installs.
-
Baka's biggest game regret is... Stormrise or something like that ._.
Even the company gave up on it -

Shogun 2, great game, but annoying voices and too complex for me to play
-
Black Ops.
-
WoW. After reaching lvl 63, I was still bored. Wasting my money on subscriptions and 2 expansions is the biggest regret in general.
-
Battlefield 3. I spent 30 dollars on it, not even full price. I thought it was poorly optimized and gameplay wasn't as good as BFBC2. I wish I would have just stuck with BFBC2.
-
None. The bad games that I played helped me appreciate the good ones even more.
-
Resident Evil 5: I loved playing Res4 on PS2 and thought that Res5 on PS3 would be a great sequel. Sadly I just never got into it and the fun from the previous game just wasn't there.
-
Farcry 2, gets SO MUCH repetitive a little into the game
-
I regret getting some of these games because of my current crappy comp (I may retest once my new one comes in)
-Darksiders looks great but kinda badly ported to PC (steam sale got me)
-Frontlines Fuel of war (steam sale lol I dont even need this)
-Payday heist (my friends pressured me to buying it. Stupid laggy mouse made it so hard to control. Caused by the game itself and my comp). -
fallout new vegas, it is a big let down for me, im used to the sandbox fallout 3, but in NV its felt linear and....yes, predictable.
-
My most recent is MW3 on the PS3. I bought it the night of the release and beat the single player that same night. Got sick of the multiplayer after a little while and only ended up playing it the first two nights that I have owned it and haven't touched it since.

Star trek online

From seeing my GF play it, I actually really like the look of FF13. I guess it's the sort of thing that might get boring in person, though. Eh, she doesn't seem to mind.
-
The game was disappointing.
Perhaps I just thought highly of it? -

HL2 episodes didn't seem to pan out as well as I had hoped / as well as they were advertised to do...
You've got the original game release in late 04, which was great.
Episode 1 wasn't very good, released in mid 06. Episode 2 was good, but it was late 07, almost 3 years after the original...
and then that's it - for the next 4 years, no sign of Mr. Freeman. I just want to figure out what happens with the crazy story. -
I couldn't just think of "one" game I was disppointed of soo heres 10
1.Medal Of Honor
2.Call Of Duty MW3
3.Brink
4.Duke Nukem Forever...
5.Rage
6.Dead Island
7.Dragon Age 2
8.FF13
