Would like the opinion of this forum if I should take my Gateway machine back to bestbuy due to 1 pixel in middel top of screen. Only noticeable on dark backgrounds.

Loaded and customized the machine at this point but girlfriend is also a little disappointed that we just spent 1300 on this.

We're planning to take overseas and this will likely be used for DVDs and watching tv too.

I would if your just swapping for same thing other than that there is a 15% restocking fee.

I had one bad pixel on mine. Tapped the screen with my finger and presto.... the bad pixel was gone... It has been about a month since then and it has not returned.. I have tapped the screen with my finger and nothing came back.. Not saying this will work on yours but you might give this a try...

i had an dead pixel on my old laptop which I got from best buy. I returned and I did not have to pay for a restocking fee. I did have to pay an additional fee because the laptop I bought was an open item.
