Would you say the 15.4 for the occasional airplane use is too big? Probably wouldnt use it in class, but rather in the library and car to do homework and study. I'd also like to put it on my lap while on the couch and such. Any of you with a 15.4 find yourself doing these things easily?

I have a 15.4 and it works perfectly fine for all those things. You get yourself a carrying case for it (in my situation a backpack that protects it as well) and you have no problems whatsoever. Also, I like the backpack better for carrying because it's not as likely to get stolen. A laptop bag will get stolen very easily...cuz they know a laptop is in there. With the backpack they think it's just probably some books :)

LOL... Thanks for reminding me Angel... I once did a search for a cool laptop safe backpack... That was so long ago... I think I last liked this roomy Jansport...
