    Hello Everyone:
I don't recall receiving any disks with my laptop online purchase from GW. Is the Recovery Disk that I burned from the recovery center, the same as the Vista Installation disk that everyone refers to? I used it recently to factory restore my laptop. Now I'm just paranoid and checking to make sure GW didn't leave something out of the package they sent to me.
    Thanks,
    Derek

Mine came with a CD that had Windows Vista on it.

I was suprised at how few programs it had on it. I asked for mine "clean" and the only program it came with was Nortons and of course the camera. It didnt even have AOL on it o.0

There definitely should have been a Windows Vista Recovery CD in the box. You use this to restore the OS, then use the Software and Drivers disc to restore everything else. If you dont have one, Id be calling Gateway.
