I've seen a few places where various people have somehow gotten 2 finger scrolling to work on it, but I have yet to find instructions.

I have come across this: http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&star...tM2HDg&usg=AFQjCNGyaEDvhjPBPhmIXYar7zdbpln3nw

It doesn't work, I get this:
"Driver support for multiple fingers is already enabled but the driver still doesn't report multiple fingers. Either you haven't restarted the system yet or your TouchPad doesn't support multiple fingers."

I hope the last part isn't true, so does anyone have any ideas?

    Oh, I'm on a Gateway M-6848.

Gateway4LIFE, until I make my own PC :).

It's that last line - your touchpad doesn't support multiple fingers. Most touchpads don't support multi-touch.

    Darn...

I had Mac OS X 10.5.5 installed on here (which ran really good) and I couldn't get it working there either...oh well.

Nice site, although the navigation is somewhat confusing but overall it's a nice place.

I noticed that there isn't a single Gateway on the top 50 notebooks. Why? I love Gateway more than anything else.

You might want to edit out that part about OSX, that discussion is forbidded a la forum rules.

I couldn't tell you why Gateway doesn't have one place in the top 50, where are you seeing this list?
