Just an FYI for those who do not yet know, Gateway's support site has a total of 24 new driver downloads right now. Also, I'm curious that they had a bluetooth driver download...wtheck?

That "fix" would be found in the new Nvidia GPU driver. I think it was v177.85 (or higher).

The laptop is compatible with the bluetooth modules in the 6860, and there is an internal jack for them. If you happen to get your hands on one you would probably like to have the driver too.

See the mobo pix posted recently. Adding BT to the 7811 is a scary proposition.

Are you telling me? Or is this an "in general statement"? Because my laptop has a bluetooth module already so I'm indifferent to the suffering of those without.

I tried to install the new conexant audio driver, and the driver installation failed....now I don't have working audio, even after trying to install the stock drivers from my recovery disk.
