The first screen above is Crysis Demo for 1 hour with Medium Settings, 1920x1200 and No AA. (On my other 7811 the tempature went to 95 C for the graphics and almost 65 for the HDD)

The next screen is Grid Demo for 50 Minutes with Maxed out settings and 2x multisampling.

(Both Games were played back to back with the laptop on a flat wooden surface)

Im about to do COD4 Demo maxed out for 1 hour but based on the temps so far with these demos are they good enough to say Im in a safe zone right now? Do I have to run them even longer? Feedback would be apprec. Thanks! :)

From what i ehar if you have a lemon that thing will go b00m on you on the first 15 minutes of intense gpu activity you are looking solid to me just like my pc :) maybe a bit hotter but i put 2 books in the back of the battery to hold the laptop above the table :p cuz im cheap!

This is Call Of Duty 4 Maxed out with 4x AA being played for 30 minutes. What do you guys think I should do based upon all 3 tempatures. More tests? Im good? Return? Thanks, this is my 2nd 7811 by the way.

Temps look good to me but really the main thing is as long as your machine is not doing anything out of the ordinary ie locking up etc then your fine and its a keeper.

i just got done playing bioshock for about 3 hours and my gpu temps max were like 75 1920x1200 no AA and that was with a hefty overclock but im also elevated on all fours :)

I just got a 2888 model. Temps are looking much better for me as well. However, I have a puzzling anomoly. Under ACPI, temp for TZS0 maxed out at 98C while TZS1 maxed out at 57C. What gives?

Thanks, No lock ups or anything runs quite fast. Gonna post some more temps later, I really wanna be sure. I have really limited funds and buying this is huge for me :)
