    3108b (again) - No xp sound driver...help!

    Hi everybody, i need some help!....i have just bought a 3108b and i too wiped it in favour of XP pro, all the drivers are installed and working apart from the Sigmatel HD, the link on the previous thread has expired and despite trying several over the last few days i cant find one which works...they either say there not working properly or install ok and still no sound....please help me!

    I'm still using my 3108b and loving it! Cheap and cheerful bot not with the crappy OS that comes with it!

    Anyways, There's a thread on here that will sort it out for you.. (I was once frustrated with this thing too!

    What you need to do is to UNINSTALL whatever audio drivers you're using.
    Then install the microsoft hi-definition audio bus driver.
    Use the following link or google for it. It's in tons of places.

    When you've done that, Install the Audio driver from the link below. It seems to work with mine just fine!

    Reboot, make a cup of tea. Hell, even use the lavatory if you must, but when you get back onto your desktop, your audio will work!
