    3520GZ won't recognize 2gb sd cards

    Is this normal? Or is it my laptop? Is there a fix? Thanks.

    Will it recognize any cards? memory stick or different size?

    Yes, it recognizes cards with smaller size like 1gb. I don't have a memory stick.

    for what its worth, if you have a 2gb standard sandisk SD it might be the card itself.

    i purchased one from CC about 4months ago to use w/readyboost but for some reason it wouldnt format correctly. i corresponded w/sandisk CS and they told me to send that one in for a replacement, so here i am w/a 2gb sandisk sd card for readyboost.

    I use two different brands -- high-speed Kingston and Pqi. Both are fine in other computers. It's just the high-capacity cards that are not recognize. 1gb and 512mb card are fine. Thanks for your response.

    My lady has a high capacity card and once I get back from vacation, I'll check it out and see if I get any errors.
