says I have to wait 32 minutes...not gonna do that for 26k. Just get a screenshot of your 3dmark06 score page and use imageshack.us

7701 is a very good score. Most get around the 7k mark with 2.4 CPU's. Also, make sure your resolution is 1280x1024...if you can't run that then run at native 1440x900. 3dmark scores give the score based on frames put up, not resolution so if you run at 680x480 you'll get a much higher score, but it looks like ass.

My original score with the T5450 CPU was only 6574. After installing the T9300 CPU tonight, I am happy to report my new score is: 8464.

Buy a T9300 if at all possibile, its a great processor.

Running with the 174.20 drivers. Really want to try XP on this thing. Don't overclock my card by the way.

if your cpu is 2.8 it's faster than the T9300. also john what was your resolution when you got 8464? and did you OC the gpu?

You should try going to "laptopvideo2go.com" for those drivers. Make sure you uninstall the older ones properly before installing these new ones.
By the way, that is an awesome 3dmark score for that processor speed. :)

    laptopvideo2go.com

go into the forums under 17X

No, I did not overclock my GPU. The T9300 is a stellar processor, and I believe others will verify that it is faster than the T7XX series CPUs. MHZ doesn't matter quite as much as people think these days.

well it's kind of difficult to compare scores if you got different settings. as a rule of thumb when doing 3dmarks benches, we usually just use the default settings.

i originally got 6800+ score on default hardware with 169.09 drivers
upgraded tonight to T7500 (swapped from my XPS m1530) and 4GB ram and score went up to 8085

At this point I'm still confused about TC's specs. 7700 is a bit too high for stock specs, and he mentioned "2.8ghz" which I assume means X9000, but 7700 is way too low for that.

Nonetheless, that's a rather disappointing score. Make sure you run 3DM6 with basic settings. (Settings you get if you're using the free version)
