Is this just due to the fact that 3dmark06 doesn't know what ddr3 1066 is, or is something else wrong?

That would be my guess we are talking about a program from 3 years ago.... but im pretty certain that the 7805u is DDR3 enabled... unless you got gyped :p

Right, that's what I am worried about. Is there another app that can check the config?

Thanks for the replies. Here is what it found

It seems to report DD2 at 667 as well, but then DDR3 on the speed page. Confused.

ok thats weird. If the second screen shot is to be believed, you have RAM that actually runs at 1220mHz instead of 1066

The first screen is reporting it correctly as dual channel ran running at 1066mHz for some reason they just screw up the naming in the first field.

If your really freaked about it you can always remove the modules and count the pins. 204 = DDR3

It's DDR3. Just go by it's part listing. That's DDR3 at 1066. The bottom is listing the different specs from Epilda of DD3 (their lower, mid, and high chip clocks).

It's just some sort of mistake on the first page to say DDR2, that's the only abnormality I noticed in it.

The timing tables are what the ram is capable of per SPD programing.

Buggy software. That's all. CPU-z does that with mine too. 3dmark has always done it. You're fine..put it behind you.
