(Gateway 6518GZ) I recently installed XP PRO on my machine, read around on the forums and found out that some drivers were not supported for PRO, anyways, did a clean install of XP Hhome. FIRST thing I checked was the Device Manager to see what drivers I needed I have multiple IRQs in the "Other" droplist and the two that concerned me the most was a "Network Controller" and an "Ethernet controller" considering I wouldn't be able to just download my automatic updates and recieve any updates that might be benificial to my situation so I hopped on my dektop and searched around on Gateways site and downloaded the Broadcom network driver and burnt in to a CD and with no avail I still had those two IRQ's, and just in case your wondering I did download all the other necessary drivers and got the other IRQs corrected (Most were fixed by installing the chipset drivers) SO my question is where do I find the drivers for the Ethernet/Network card I got a feeling the answer if right under my nose and my frustration is blocking me from focusing so I am enlisting so help from anyone who want to. I will accept and try any responses and thank you in advance for your help.

Okay....forget the drivers and all that....Is it an option to buy a LAN ExpressCard and just screw the irqs and be able to regain internet access (considering I connect PPoE)
