I just got arpound to putting a 512 on the internal slot of my 6809 ,and a 1GB in the external. This with a new 7200 HD (old one died) makes a remarkable spped boost. However - now if the machine is left on for a period of time ~1-1/2 days - it hangs Just freezes Anyone has anything like this, and is there a newer bios than the f08.00?

if it is not too late for a reply.
    - do u have latest xp updates?
    - do u have external devices connected to ur laptop? --> turn off the save power option
    - f08.00 is the official latest from eMachines, but if u r game u can try the f09.00 from targa (i am using it myself and loving it); this however should not be the cause for ur hang/freeze
    - how long do u have this machine? may be time for a clean-up

    cheers ...
