Hey everyone, Im a new member and I think I will like it here. Just wanted to get that out of the way. I purchased my laptop about a week ago, love it so far. I recently noticed a problem I've had with the mouse settings. I purchased a logitech mouse for use at home which uses Setpoint to use all the features. The problem is with my default settings on the mouse pad. I increase the speed in which it moves but every time i restart the settings return to default. Any idea what this could be?

I had a similar problem with Setpoint and my G1S. Try going into Setpoint- On the left are three tabs- select the Mouse Game Settings tab- Under Speed and Acceleration select "OS implementation" and click "Apply".
Now you shouldn't have to reset after each restart.

Ah. That got it fixed, thanks a lot!

I had one more question though, but its not terribly iimportant, so if you could answer it bonus kudos :p

I don't recall the method of doing this but how do I make scrolling "Smooth"? Hope that makes sense... by default scrolling is very jumpy.

I don't know about "smoothing" but you can adjust the speed at which the mouse scrolls. Try this and see if it works for you. Go to Setpoint and select the second tab on the right (Mouse Moverment). Under "Scrolling Size you can increase or reduce the amount of lines a rotation of the mousewheel scrolls through. I believe default is 3 lines. I personally use 6 as I prefer scrolling through long threads quicker. Hope that helps.
