I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Lately my right hinge from where the monitor is connected, makes an odd cracking noise. As if something were warped in there. Its not 100 percent of the time but occasionally enough to notice. As far as I can tell the monitor holds up pretty well in all positions and I see nothing wrong with it... should I be overly concerned?

Nothing but problems with my old Gateway Arima hinges, now totally failed. This one is supposedly made by Acer. I would call so Gateway can start a ticket on it.

GW may ask you to send it back, they will mail you a shipping box.
