    So, two quick questions.

    1) What color settings do you guys use? It seems the default colors are kind of washed out, maybe I'll try one of your recommended settings.

    2) There's the cool touch volume thing at the top of the keyboard, but the level indicator between the - and + sign does not work and I'm pretty sure it's meant to light up. Is there a specific driver I missed for this? All other leds work, the - and + even light up.

Thanks guys, you've been a great help in convincing me to purchasing this laptop. Oh, the laptop is the 6831 fx in case you missed the subject line.

I have my brightness set to 40, contrast set at 50 and gamma set at 25. That seemed to make some difference in washed out look.

As for the volume control..only the + and - light up, the bars in the middle don't, you have to run your finger along the panel like scrolling to raise and lower the sound, tapping the panel will not work.

I tried the settings, seems about the same. =p Thanks though.

As for the volume, so far I just need to keep my finger on either - or + to raise or lower the volume, the sliding finger along it doesn't quite work for me. What a shame, the volume indicator would've been very cool. After all, it's all right there, probably just needs some drivers to make it work?

Hmm that super high digital vibrance must've did the trick. Colors are more solid now, either that or it's just me.
