Ok so a few days ago my stepson kicked my laptop off the coffee table and now the screen has multi color lines going through it. With no picture what so ever. But it did work fine when I connected it to a external monitor. And now I cant connect to the monitor..... First question... How can I connect it with out seeing the screen.

Also I checked everything on the laptop... everything works except the lcd. I Hooked up a 14inch lcd to it and it worked fine. I took it completely apart... With the broken lcd. I am left with no choices but order a new Screen Right?

Thanks in advance for the help.

EDit I should state that there is no Physical breaks or anything in the screen on the laptop. Also I am running windows 7 64bit ultimate.

You can or cannot connect to external monitor? First you can then can't?

You can replace the LCD in standard or Hi res. Search forum for prices or just continue to use external of your choice..

Yes, replace the screen or use external.

I've had good experiences with screencountry.com
