Why do my games look 1 million times better on my cousins external gateway 1440 900 19 inch display.

Both screens are the same resolution but mines look fuzzier and seems to have more aliasing that his.

is going on. I was wowed by his monitor. Should a 17 inch 14x90 res look better than a 19 inch of the same res.

I though i knew alot about computers but this just boggles my mind.     :( :( :( :( :(

That native resolution for both monitors is 1440x900?
    EDIT: nevermind, it is.

Probably just a better quality LCD panel.

Laptop LCD screens usually have worse quality screens than external LCD monitors.

    Anyways on topic:

Ah well it not worth it to buy a better screen since i wont be able to play crysis at WUXGA res anyways. Since that the game i mainly play.

the glossy probably makes the screen look better, I find my laptop screen has more crisp colors, but the desktop screens are brighter.

    Marsh...........
I think it honestly depends on the external monitor. I think think the colors might be slightly faded on this LCD by default but some tweaking fixes it up.
    ...................mellows.

Rightclick desktop>Nvidia Control Panel>Desktop Color Settings, Fiddle with those until you get your desired color.

There's also the video setting in the nvidia control panel you can adjust. And some other things you might like.
