    Hello all,

I haven't been on here in a long while. I've loved this rig since I bought it. It has never given me any trouble and has been through hell. I've seen it overheat and cutoff from dust. I've come into the room to find it perpetually resetting and booting up for a few seconds and then resetting again over and over for who knows how many hours. Still it is a tank.

Anyways... Will my rig run Skyrim at all? I upgraded to the T9300 (I believe, it was 3 years ago) I think 2.5Ghz. I see it requires 500mb video memory for minimums. I know it ran fallout new vegas respectably.

    8800M GTS?

It'll run, but I can't say how well. My laptop should run High settings no problem, but since Bethesda hasn't done much performance patching it stutters a lot.

I would wait to buy it, I am unsatisfied with my purchase right now.

Yeah 8800. Damn you have 1GB of video memory, and still won't run smooth... Problem is, I have it on PS3 and with each save you make the save game grows. The bigger it gets the more laggy the game gets. The PS3 can not hack it. I was hoping to have control of the video options with the PC version. Sounds like a half-assed effort on the game regardless of the platform. Nice rig btw

    Thanks for the reply.

I have a T9500 in my 6860-FX with some Artic Silver running Win7 64-bit Pro and it runs everything i throw at it on max.

Are you saying you can run skyrim on max with no stutter?

Thanks, the game was a horribly rushed release and for many users it is a total wash.

I'm using an X9000 and can play on high with AA and AF off, but it will stutter occasionally. Medium with AA and AF off is best.
