    Hey,

My GPU fan seems to be acting up as of late, the temperature reaches like 90 degrees (Celsius) and the fan just doesn't come on. It starts up for a few seconds when the laptop starts, but after that.. it just sitting there, not spinning at all. What could be wrong?

I dont wanna fry anything, so I've been forced to keep the lappy off.

EDIT: Okay the fan is dead, how do I replace it? Its out of warranty aswell.

Um. You could have a look at this thread.

Also they apparently have the CPU fan and heatsink for $10 on eBay, not sure if it's the same fan.

Maybe you could find out the part number of the GPU fan? Not sure if you'll have any luck even with that though. Have you tried cleaning it out by the way or replacing the thermal paste?
