The problem I am facing is all four of the small screws holding the heatsink over the CPU are super tight. I have a number 0 and number 1 phillips screwdriver, but when i apply force they slip out and if I try much more the screws will probably be stripped.

Any advice on not destroying my screws while removing them would be awesome.

The tips I already know that might not be the best are:

    1) using a vice grip on the screwdriver to add more torque.
    2) applying superglue to screw head and placing screwdriver in head to make better bond.
    3) pliers on a raised head to turn it.
    4) drilling the screw and using a screw extractor.
    5) cutting bigger notched to allow for a larger screwdriver.
    6) WD-40 is supposedly awesome.

So any other advice would be great.

Are you following the extraction order?

As to your choices any of those would work i suppose, though you are going to have to be VERY careful with metal dust/filings getting on the boards and causing contact/shorts.

I would also apply wd-40 VERY carefully (like spray it into a cup and use a toothpick to apply it in the laptop) as i have NO idea the kind of reaction it would cause inside your computer.
