    6860 wireless antenna cable order

    Hi to all.

    i opened my laptop to do a clean up and i forgot to look at how are the antena cable ordered.

    just to make sure are they white grey and black.

    I never paid attention as to the order of the cables... they're all antennas anyway and my connection works just fine.

    when you attaching the wires again to the wireless card it goes (left to right) White, Grey and then Black

    that means when the laptop is bottom up with the back off, the white one goes on the outside near the edge of the laptop, black one closest to the center of the laptop. :)

    802.11g wi-fi cards have 2 antenna cables
    802.11n have 3 of them
    however n cards would work fine with only 2 antennas - without either white or grey
