Ok, I just got back up to school and when I set up my laptop the fans aren't spinning up on boot, yet to test it under load, anyone have any ideas?

do you mean they aren't working at all? or just on boot? I know that mine don't start until right around when i get to vista's login screen.

It was just a freak thing I guess. I restarted like three times and they never spun up like they are supposed to prior to posting... then I played CoD:WaW to see if they would kick on, they have worked ever since, including at boot.
