    noob question before i go an buy this 16GB Turbo SDHC 2.0 (6mb read/write time), is it compatible with the media card reader in the 6860fx? I havent tried any SD or media cards in it yet and can only see online that it supports SD? If it supports SDHC I should be good.

    To my knowledge it supports SDHC.

    It supports SDHC. Use it with my cameras all the time.

    don't really think the readyboost is necessary, or will even be noticeable.

    Nope, it definitely wont give you any performance increase with 4 gigs of ram, OP.
