Just wondering what sort of frame rates you guys get in Bioshock. Just got the laptop a few days ago and I'm getting 35fps avg in dx9 and 30fps avg in dx10 which seems kind of low to me.

    drivers- 177.41
    dx9- 4xaa 16xaf

Doesn't say whether it is in dx9 or dx10 though. Can we assume dx10?

    I'd guess DX10, ya.

If you don't want to bump the AA down, going from 16xAF to 8 would not really be noticeable and give you a little more juice to play with.

ya you have to force it from the CP like in all the unreal engine games. i think the reason they dont even offer it in game is the performance hit . some people refuse to play a game with any jaggies. gears of war is the only one i recent memory i can think of that offers AA but only in DX10 mode but i could be mistaken and there could be others.
