    Is there a list of the windows 7 drivers for this model?

    you dont need any special drivers from gateway except for sound

    gpu driver @ laptopvideo2go (look at sticky on top of gateway forum) or nvidia.com
    intel chipset @ intel.com
    touchpad = synaptics.com

    not sure what else it needs.

    You can use W7 drivers for some other models like the P-78xx series for webcam per example. Check for latest BIOS update as well.

    Win 7 kicks Vista in the . Definitely go for it. I prefer to do a clean install rather than an upgrade, but not sure if it matters one way or the other. Just back up your data either way.

    To use the media strip at the top of the keyboard, I use the app disk that came with the laptop, I do not know a better way.Everything else is easy, get the video driver from Nvidia, 260.99 works great.
