Wrong, I'm using the version you linked. Here's a screenshot.

Can you do a screenshot of the 'Internal Filters' screen in the options. Is 'H264/AVC (DXVA)' ticked?

Can you also do a File - Properties - Details. Does it show something like this:

    Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1920x800 23.98fps [English (Video 1)]
    Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch [English (Audio 1)]

Brilliant you fixed it. It wasn't checked for some reason. However it's now much slower with that enabled. The video is lagging way behind the audio.
    Here is the properties info.

    Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1920x1040 23.98fps [English (Video 1)]
    Audio: DTS 48000Hz 6ch [English (Audio 1)]

Is the 'Enable DXVA' option ticked in the MPC Video Decoder options? You have to restart MPC after you enable it.

Also did you update your display drivers in the end?

Nvm, it still won't show up in the 32 bit version. I accidentally opened the 64bit version which does actually show the MPC Video Decoder, the 32 bit version still isn't working. I don't see the MPC Decoder.

CoreAVC is stealing precedent of decoding in your system, it shouldn't be rendering that video.

Also, some movies simply aren't encoded with the DXVA enabled, so regardless of what your player has enabled, the video itself doesn't support it. Some of mine do, some don't, it's hit and miss, but if it's not enabled in the video itself, neither MPC nor PDVD8 will use DXVA with it.

Alright since this video probably wont allow DXVA. In the future if I want it to how do I make it take precedent over CoreAVC?

Uninstall CoreAVC. From what I'm reading MPC-HC's internal codec performs as well as and better than CoreAVC anyway.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing you didn't pay for it anyway, so it's not like you won't be using software you bought.
