So I went to 'awaken' my 6860fx from sleep this morning but when I turned it on the screen wouldn't turn on with the laptop. So I turned it off, waited, then turned it back on and still nothing would show up on screen, black. However this time I was greeted by a couple beeps. 1 long and 2 short. I tried finding what it means but have had some trouble locating it. I thought it must be the memory or GPU. So I tried fooling around with the memory... no change.

It seems to me that the only thing left for me to do, short of scrapping it, is baking it as I read that can help. Before I do this I just wanted to make sure I reached the right conclusion. Any advice would be much appreciated.

(I have already found the appropriate guides to disassemble, thank you)
