    Hello,

With all the fun i've had with this laptop already and making it work well with FFXI i've decided my best direction to go with it is setting up a dual boot system Vista Ultimate 64-bit and XP Pro 32-bit. My question regarding this, after I format my harddrive (want to take off Gateways Vista version) and install Vista and XP will I need to re-install bios the most recent bios? Does the format delete it?

It will be my first attempt at setting up a dual boot system, but for my sanities sake I need to make this system work for me.

    Thanks in advance

Once you reformat, no, you will not need to reinstall BiOS. BiOS is on a chip on the motherboard and is not on your hard drive.

Btw, when you install a multi-boot (dual-boot) system its always best to install the OSes in a oldest to newest order.
