Is it just mine or the sound from the 6864FX doesnt have "bass" and when the volume is on med-high the "treble" is so high it hurts your ears.. is there a function on the lappy i could change the sound settings around or is there just something wrong with my lappy?

Those speakers are next to worthless. Really nothing you can do to change it. You can try to fiddle around with the EQ settings, but really won't matter much. Invest in a decent pair of speakers or headphones.
