    Hi there,
I am having issues with the speakers on my 7426GX. I use them quite often, and have been very satisfied (there not the best, but they do have outstanding clarity compared to my sister's HP with Harmon Kardons). Lately, I have noticed that after a while of listening to music, the sound will switch to the left side, only the background noises coming out the right speaker. Has anyone experienced this? If I give them a sudden burst in volume (through Windows controller), they will work again for about 5 minutes. I know it isn't my audio card, for my headphones work fine. Could this be a connection problem? Any suggestions?
    Thanks

is this problem consistent with every audio program you run, or isolated to one... i guess what im getting at is how much have you troubleshooted the problem? Run any tests on sound card?

The problem is with everything that has sound effects. I just played GTA:SA to test, and yes, it does it on that too.
Now, what do you mean by "tests" on the sound card?

iv seen some people post tests for sound cards on forums before... maybe someone has a link to a good one... like a utility that detects performance/problems etc
