I just want to know other people who havent overclocked just straight out the box with the 6860 fx model, if they had similiar scores?
or similiar expriences with cs source or other source games ect.
and yes when i play games its plugged in not off battery and the battery setttings are always on high performance

A little low, I think average is about 7200-7300. Make sure your power managment is on HIGH PERFORMANCE and not Blanced or Power Saver. Hope this helps. God Bless

I believe that your score is what it's supposed to be. Look at your CPU. You have a T5550, which is a "low-end" core 2 duo. Upgrading your processor would certainly give you a healthy boost in 3dMARK.
Also, have you taken benchmarks for real games? 3Dmark is a synthetic benchmark that is useless except for bragging rights. Try playing graphic intense games, and see if your FPS matches what others are getting. -
edit: As for css, it is a source game and requires a lot of physics processing. Depending on the size of the server 30ppl+ you will experience some lag because the processor is heavily taxed. -
lol we told you it was normal, i got below 7000 with my setup before i upgraded the CPU
