Hello, my girlfriends Gateway 7415G is overheating like crazy
    CPU reads 146
    HDD reads 109

Ive tried using canned air on the vents, but they arnt exposed enough to be cleaned properly, one of the fans only seems to be working intermittently.

So my question to all you Gateway notebook gurus is, do any of you know how to dismantle the 7415G to get to the vents / fans?

    Many Thanks
    Eyuras

    *Update
Semi-fixed, set speed switch to run the cpu as low as possible, got it down to 30c with a cooler pad

settting the cpu at low speed only delays the shutdown :)
best thing would be to take the machine apart, at least so that u can get into removing the heatsink/fan, and then a thorough clean up and new thermanl paste
some referencing guides that would let you get into the area of cpu et all
