    I just want to let you know guys that I got the drivers and not from gateway site, I do not know if soon they will add them to their website , I did not make my recovery cds and I formatted my computer , even, I could get them so if someone had the same situation as me, let me know and I will be happy to help

    Picked one up last night. Man this puppy rocks!!!!! Do you have a site where you can post all the drivers? I'd like to upgrade to Pro. Actually, I'd like to upgrade to 64-bit, and according to MS, Gateway should provide an upgrade to 64-bit with all the drivers, but Tech-Support sucks. Warning to all who get this one from Best Buy, the normal 800 tech support number for Gateway can't help you. You have to call a non-toll-free number.

    Use a cell phone to call that non toll free number...then who cares...and if you don't have a cell phone...then what the deuce are you doing with a laptop. J/k...but somewhat serious. :)

    I just got this laptop last weekend and updated to Windows XP 64 and I was wondering if
    you had them or if you know of a site that has them. I need the sound and modem and nic drivers.

    Any help would be awsome thanks.

    Ok, I just got mine last night, and I let it charge over night. Right now I am making the restore disk and hopefully will get a hold of the drivers for you all if that other guy doesnt get them.

    go where for info on the drivers? i have called gateway they are getting a recovery disc together for me but i would like to keep professional instead of home.

    I happend to get the computer and reformat right away too. Thank you for the drivers. But my computer is running at 787 Mhz now. Anyone know how to fix that? Also I now have what seems to be dead pixels on the desktop, but they flicker which makes me think its the video card.

    Also, how do I get the programs that I could actually use, like the stuff for DVD and what not? Are there better replacements you guys suggest?

    it is running on 787mhz because of the amd software. It down clocks your cpu to save power.
