    Hi,
I am new to windows and just got a 7510GX for audio recording and editing. The program I am using performs best (by far) with AMD processors. The GX has every element covered for best performance with this program (Ableton live 5) except for the hard drive speed. 4200 RPM just don't cut it. I am looking for a top notch 7200 RPM internal replacement drive to make my system complete. I am new to windows (Mac guy) and would be grateful for any suggestions leading me to an adequate 7200 RPM replacement that performs well with this system and is not TOO pricey. The size (GB's) is not too much of an issue as I am using also an external HD as well,(80 GIG GLYPH 7200 RPM) so 60 GIG's should be more than enough. I just don't want to buy something and than find out it doesn't work with this system. Again, I am a windows novice, so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Cool Runnins,

Your only option really is the Hitachi 60GB 7200RPM drive. Seagate has some new 7200 RPM options out, but they're not reaching retail just yet.
