    7510gx dead pixels

    Hey i got this notebook and its FRICKIN AWSOME... but i got ONE dead pixel RIGHT in the center of the screen :(... anyone get something like that?
    I'm returning tomarrow to bestbuy and wander how they are gonna do it, b/c i installed some stuff on the hd and stuff but nothing tooo much...

    Anyways its an awsome notebook cept i keep hitting the FIN instead of the CTRL key (i use copy paste alot with my coding for repetitive stuff) the small spacebar doesn't seem like big problem at all. I played MOHAA with every setting on HIGHEST and i got 97fps... HOLY CRAP ITS NICE :) ...

    yeah, i got a dead pixel too. it's like a red dot but i can easily ignore it :)

    well I would easily ignore mine if I paid $500 or less for it, but i didn't so I can't ignore it.. AND its right in the dab middle and its black so you notice it right off when im playing a game, watching movie, and DEFINATLY when im using code editor...

    You should get yours fix too since it should be free. (I sure as heck am :) )...

    Its an awsome display though, can't wait til i get it back and then reinstall winxp (take off the junk it already comes with)....

    If you got a restore CD, you could wipe the hard drive and re-install. They will never know.

    yeah i was gonna do that... but i didn't care.. it was there fault anyways (why wait to mess with my compy if I payed for 3 year warranty? As time goes by my warranty is getting less and less! Kinda hate that I bought the stupid warranty I always think they are scams... personal opinion!!)

    Well actually I couldn't find one.. it could have been hidden in the million CD-R's they gave me, which i didn't look there for it... O well..

    WHOA!!!
    Ok I got a new laptop they excahanged, easily done...
    Now I started to make it personal(delte most crap and install my own crap).... made recovery cds.. installed games and software I use alot...

    I like the wireless i am SPOILED to it now :).. althoguth I mostly have the AC Adapter on...

    GAMING WISE: HOLY CRAP its nice as hell! I installed MOHAA and Joint Ops: Typhoon Rising.. MOHAA with settings on highest works perfectly with 97fps. NICE. Joint Ops I didn't mess with settings, the graphics looked awsome and no problems! (I still don't get why it's 800mhz... makes it seem slow when it really is like 800Ghz lol) So far everything runs excellent (cept when i uninstalled AOL, there was a crash but that was only time).

    I recommend this notebook to anyone and everyone. :)

    ps: now after next paycheck i can get BF2 and/or HL2 and try those. hehe .
