This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Has anyone installed Linux on the 7510gx? If so, did you have any problems? Drivers OK?

    Not on a Gateway, but I did have Unbuntu on my ThinkPad and Fedora on my old Compaq with AMD CPU. Everytging I used worked fine.

    Thanks for the answer. I looked at Debian and they are still at work on porting it for the AMD64. It will be in the "Etch" release. So I am not sure about using it on the 7510gx at this time.

    My intrest is to find a Vista replacement. If I have to learn a new OS, why not one that does not change all the time.
