    7510gx won't boot (help!)

    just won this on ebay (after lurking here for a month)
    problem: the power light comes on for 10 seconds, the dvd drive flashes, the power light goes off for a second then comes back on for another 10 seconds, then stays off.
    nothing on the screen, or on the crt i plugged in.
    i chrged the battery & reseated the memory
    any ideas?

    um does the person you bought it from have a warranty like, DOA?

    Had about the same issue on a Dell Inspiron,come to find out it was the power supply
    was getting to low of voltage, replaced PS and all was good, best bet either try getting
    refund or exchange or take it to some one or place who work on them.

    Does it do in on AC and battery? Could try reseating the hard drive as well. I think your best bet is to try to return or exchange it since it seems to be defective. Hope you bought from a reputable seller.

    Did you try to remove one memory card?
    I had a problem like that, so I just removed 1 memory card and it began to work very well
