I've found that the fastest performing drivers for the Mobility Radeon X600, at least in my 7510GX, are the Omega Catalyst 5.7s. There's actually a substantial performance hit in using the 5.9s. 5.8s perform about the same, and 5.6s are a bit slower. Haven't tried 5.10s yet.

I've also noticed that the GPU fails any artifact tests from ATI Tray Tools or ATITool at stock speeds. Not just a little fails it, either. An artifact every second or two. So my question is: how come the only things that I can see artifacting are programs designed to suss out artifacting? Doom 3, which should artifact like crazy all things considered, doesn't.

Either way, there's no overclocking headroom on this card, I suspect, especially since it's already running at close to the maximum spec for the Mobility Radeon X600 anyhow.
