I want to put DDR3 1333 in my 7801 but not sure if it supports it. Does it still go by the FSB of the CPU or doesnt that matter? Thanks in advance FX family!

Memory frequency cannot be higher than the FSB. DDR3-1333 will clock-down to DDR3-1066, assuming the CPU's FSB is 1066MHz.

It will clock down but the faster memory may support a lower CAS at 1066. it will not be a huge difference but at least some improvement.............
