Hi guys, spent two hours at best buy today..nearly pulled the trigger and bought myself a 7805..but i want the 1920x1200...from what I can gather..all of the serial numbers begin with WX03040 or something like that..the part I think that can tell us if its a 1440x900 or a 1920x1200 is a portion of the serial that is either "3848" or "3901" can anyone confirm or deny this?

Mine has the LG 1920 x 1200 monitor and has "3847" as part of the SN.

anyone with a 1440x900 that can report in? if the codes been cracked the world needs to know! (my local best buy wouldnt let me open the boxes to see before i bought one)
-
I really wanted a 1900 res, but didn't get the right batch. I got the 1440. The only thing I see similar to yours is that mine has the 3902 in it.
I'm hoping to return it before the 14 days and luck out. :/
EDIT: It's the 1440 AUO Screen. -
so it appears the 38** is a 1920, 39** is a 1440...
-
auo 1920 x 1200 "3850"

Sounds like it! I'll test this and get back to you all. I'm pretty much determined to get the right one now!
-
