I have all the other drivers(that I know of) up and running, but the sound isn't going so well. I can't find any drivers that are kosher at Gateway's site, since they seem to only have Vista ones. Barring that, I didn't even know where to begin to find the audio driver I need. I tried searching the forum, but if there is an advanced search function that lets me hunt through the gateway forum specifically, I couldn't find it, so I'm sorry if this is a repeat question!

Nope. Mine lists it as Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 in the device manager.

You must not setup different computers very often.

You should never download and install drivers for a device without knowing the device model and manufacturer.
