Does anyone get a lot of BSOD's ?

I've been getting a ton, and now my camera drivers are gone, and I can't find the camera in the device manager..

    ?

The more I use this thing, the more it seems I bought a P.O.S.

    Test the ram.

If the ram is fine, test the GPU.

Never had an issue. But then again I don't put XP on it, if I interpret your sig correctly.

    cheers ...

I had 1 BSOD a few weeks ago that made me uber paranoid. But that was (and hopefully, will continue to be) an isolated incident.

Definitely run some tests on ram, cpu, and maybe even the hard drive (what I suspect to have caused my BSOD).

    I'm back on Vista.

    I keep getting BSOD's

Especially when I go AFK and leave it on.

i had a desktop computer brought to me that was having bsod issues. after lots of hardware testing it turned out to be a failing hdd that sometimes passed the hdd tests. after testing the computer out with an external usb hdd it ran fine. swapped out the hdd for a new one and worked great after. luckily it was also brought it in on time and was able to salvage all the data.
