    7805u Battery LED is solid red

    So all of a sudden a month after buying it I wake up today and the computer is completely dead. It is connected to power yet it is still solid red. Why oh why did this happen and what can I do?

    Try removing the battery and see if it will run on AC only.

    Can you verify that the power brick works? Because if it died of course your battery would be dead as well.... and try taking the battery out as recommended
