Using Win 7, recently Synaptics driver ran into a problem and asked me if I wanted to uninstall it. I clicked OK accidentally and now I can't reinstall using the gateway drivers for 78xx 32/64 bit Vista. During the install process it just says install failed, try again or contact gateway. Haven't called them yet because I think it may just be an issue of getting drivers from somewhere else.
The touchpad works for moving the cursor and tapping, but the side scrolling and tap zones are gone from the menu in Control Panel->Mouse.
So did anyone else run into this problem using Win 7? And if your touchpad is working in Win7 what drivers are you using?
Thanks
