    7805u WIndows 7 Powermizer hangs system.

    Do you have similar problem? When powermizer is on then my system hangs and crashes.

    Some Core 2 Duo CPUs aggressively lower the core voltage when idle which seems to cause problems for some CPUs after they've been around for a few years. I've heard of this problem with some of the energy efficient P series processors like the P8400.

    You can try using ThrottleStop and uncheck the SLFM feature to prevent your CPU from lowering the bus speed at idle. This might help.

    Jus responded to a PowerMizer question in this thread. Check towards the bottom... Check out the link in my response there and it will lead you to an open source app called PowerMizer Manager which will give you full control of the PowerMizer capabilities of your GPU under Windows 7.

    PowerMizer use to be a huge thorn in my side before I just turned it off forever...
