    7805u and auto switch to heaphones

    I tried the search but couldn't find anything. Have any of you noticed that it doesN'T automatically switch to headphones when you plug them in. I have to turn off whatever audio I am listening to(be it a game or music), switch the default to headphones, then restart the audio. Anyone have a solution to this?

    I presume you meant to say "it does NOT...."

    If so, go to control panel>switch to classic view>click the Conexant Smart Audio icon>uncheck classic mode>click advanced tab>select to re-route internal audio to headphones.

    I'm doing this from memory so some steps may be missing but everything is pretty much self-explanatory and/or common sense once you navigate to the Conexant Smart Audio icon (you'll need to install the drivers first obviously!).

    hopefully that should sort you out cos it worked for me!
