    7805u motherboard and other upgrades?

    After a long period of laptop getting baked, i gave my laptop for servicing. Now running smoothly though

    Laptop headphone and microphone jack not working. the repair guy was like the motherboard is faulty. Where can i get a new motherboard ?

    Also what other upgrades can i get? Can i change the processor and graphic card?

    Also what games can i still play? Only mw2 seems to be running smoothly...


    I bought this beast laptop back in 2009 when i was in california. My friend will be shipping me parts out here.

    As an upgrade you can only use the P79xx main boards. This allows the GPU to be upgraded to the 260m. This basically gives you a 20% upgrade on GPU speeds. As far as the cpu the best gaming one is the x9100. C2D Xtreme. This will work on either board but because the P79xx's have better power handling you should have a slightly cooler and more stable overclock...............
